Why Food Processing Helmond?

Food Processing Helmond is established due to several customer requests from our sistercompany Pascal Processing. Customers asked if we, besides our HPP-activities, also could take care of the production of foodproducts.

What started as an extreme food safety production of babyfood is now grown to a complete one-stop-shop for other customers who likes the synergistic combination of development, production, for several kind of pesto, dips, (vegetable)spreads and salsas.

HPP, what is that?

HPP is the newest preservation technique from the United States.
This preservation technique puts the foodproduct under extreme high pressure, so bacteria that cause food spoilage, will be inactivated.

No heat!

HPP does not use heat and gives many benefits:

  • Preservation of nutritional values, proteins and pure taste. Your clean label is finally possible.
  • No heat, so proteins will be alive
  • Food safety: the American FDA has declared that HPP gives the highest degree of food safety. An ideal answer for worries about listeria, salmonella and E.coli.
  • Longer shelf life: less waste for the retailer and less stress in the logistic chain. An enormous win for your sustainability goals.
  • More efficient production: if you have slow movers in your assortment, a longer shelf life can be used for efficient production runs and the longer shelf life can be used for storage the stock.
  • Extending export radius: a longer shelf life gives the possibility to transport your products further and exploit new export areas.

You can find already a lot of HPP-products in the supermarket. Think about ultrafresh juices, smoothies, gucacomole & dips, smoked fish etc.
